Overview
FitDiary is designed to help users log workouts, meals, hydration, reminders, goals, and friend-circle information. We aim to keep the product respectful, minimal, and clear about how information is handled.
Information we may process
Depending on the features you use, FitDiary may process:
- profile details such as name, email, and profile photo
- workout, meal, hydration, and goal information you enter
- friend-circle invite and leaderboard information
- notification preferences and reminder times
- meal photos when you choose to use photo-based nutrition estimation
How information is used
- to provide logging, reminders, and progress features inside the app
- to show your profile and leaderboard presence within FitDiary experiences
- to estimate nutrition when you voluntarily submit a meal photo
- to improve reliability, safety, and user support
Meal-photo estimation
When you use the meal-photo feature, an image you provide may be sent to a backend service and model provider so the app can return an estimated meal name and nutritional values. These estimates are intended for convenience only and are not medical advice.
Data storage
Some FitDiary features currently use local device storage. As backend-connected features are introduced, data handling may expand to secure hosted services needed to deliver those experiences.
Your choices
- you can choose whether to upload a profile photo
- you can choose whether to attach a meal photo
- you can disable reminders through app settings or device settings
- you can contact us to request help with support or privacy questions
